The Turtles Cove

I my rental is until April 18 so I am still here for a while. I did not find the condo set up for a long term rental. There were Knick knacks, framed homilies, parrots and mermaids everywhere, making it difficult to cook and find storage for my things. The bikes have flat tires that was brought to the manager’s attention but nothing was done. The ceiling fans were filthy and pots were put away dirty. Also, with the exception of a stove top cleaner, there are NOcleaning products and only one dish towel.

We are enjoying our time in St Simons but the condo has presented challenges, work and expense.

We went to St. Simons for the first time for a couple of days. The condo was really nice. Perfect for our little family. It was very quiet and clean! Would definitely stay here again!

This rental was beautiful and perfect for a weekend get away! My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay for longer!

Perfectly located, traffic is near but they provided fans for night time noise. Kids LOVED feeding the animals in the water off the back deck! Convenient & nice staff as well.

We had a hiccup with our stay and only stayed one night, but it was nice. Me personally, it was overly decorated. Also, no space in the kitchen to store groceries, but everything you could ever need is in the kitchen.

We had a family trip here over the long weekend. The home met our needs with 2 kids and a dog. It was booked last minute, and we were happy to find somewhere we could bring our fur-baby too. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen had all the things we needed. We appreciated having the Rokus and being able to watch our favorite shows in the evenings. Also, having the deck off the back was nice so we could see the turtles (didn't love the location by the highway, but we knew before going where this location was). We brought a sound machine with us, so the traffic outside didn't disturb us.

A few things that were less than stellar were that it was a little bit dirty. There was a lot of dust and left behind dog toys around and in the pull-out couch, indicating it hadn't been moved to be cleaned. Some of the rugs seemed a bit old and dirty. I'm sure it's hard to keep up with pet-friendly homes, but having that many rugs probably meant they were not scrubbed in awhile.
Additionally, it felt a bit cluttered downstairs with all of the decorations. We had to keep moving things in order to make room and so that our sons and dog didn't knock anything over.

This was a fine place to stay for a short visit, and we always enjoy our time at SSI. With a family with small kids, we will just likely stay elsewhere next time. We appreciated having the home to stay in on short notice though, and thank you to the owners!

This little condo is a great location to everything on the island and has all the amenities you’d need. We enjoyed our time and the kids loved feeding the turtles! We will definitely be back.

My only complaint is that the upstairs master bedroom does not have a ceiling fan and became very hot at night. Luckily there were a few stand fans left by the owner.

I needed a rest and this was a great place for peace and relaxation. It was fun watching the
Turles but the view of the highway was a disappointment. The kitchen was very clean and very stocked with everything needed. I was disappointed with only one
TV but all and all I enjoyed my stay.

Property description very accurate. Easy check in procedure. Nicely furnished condo with fully equipped kitchen and linens.

The vacation home was soo clean and beautifully decorated and the hosts had many different signs that helped us navigate our way through the house! They even had a cute little guest book! The condo was perfect for our little get away!

So thankful & greatful for this nice of a place for my family to stay.

Our rental was clean and close to everything. When we went to get the key it had not been left in the Dropbox but when I called the property manager was willing to come up right away and provide it even on his day off. We also had a few small mantainance suggestions but which they were also prompt to attend to. Overall great service and stay!

We enjoyed our visit to St. Simons Island! This townhome was convenient and well stocked. Very nicely decorated and comfy beds. Check in and check out were both very easy.
