Overall, we had a decent stay, but there were a couple of issues that kept it from being a great experience. The biggest problem was the mosquitoes—they were absolutely terrible and made it difficult to enjoy being outside, even for a short time. We also had issues with the refrigerator, as neither the water dispenser nor the ice maker worked during our stay, which was pretty inconvenient.

The house itself was nice and the location was great, but these issues definitely took away from the overall experience. With a few maintenance fixes and better mosquito control, this could easily be a much better place to stay.

Great location, super close walk or golf cart ride to the East Beach public access. Quick golf cart ride to Winn Dixie, Chick Fil A, and all restaurants. Property was very clean, no evidence of sand residue, bedding was clean and neatly made. Spacious rooms. Loved the extra half bath. Lots of stairs but helped us burn off all the food we ate. They had every kitchen and bathroom amenity such as blow dryer, spices, cooking oils, coffee, and tea with all the additions. The only issue was that the 2 TVs in the lower bedrooms were not smart TVs and there was no way to actually watch anything so they were useless. We also couldn’t get the ice or water in the fridge to work but may have been our own lack of knowledge on how to operate; however it did say it needed a filter so may have been the issue. We did not call management about it, so we can’t really complain. The other thing is make sure you are out at the stroke of checkout or earlier or they will come down on you. We are people that are very courteous of other people’s time and efforts and are always out by checkout but we experienced a couple minor setbacks (of our own) in checking out at exactly 10. I have never had a cleaning service be literally waiting at the door to start as we were walking out, so she immediately called management to tell them at 7 minutes after. Again we are very understanding of the time it takes to make a property as clean as ours was, and are taking blame for our error, but just a heads up not to lollygag around when leaving. Also, absolutely no fault of this property management, but literally no legitimate place for dogs to do their business. It is a dog friendly property but no one has any grass. Your dogs will all have to use in rocks or pavement for the most part. No dog park close by either. Our dogs figured it out and we cleaned up after them of course. Overall we would stay again for sure.

Clean and well supplied. It was pretty close to the beach but it was easier to drive to unload than to walk there.

Perfect location. Ideal lodgings for us.

Its a very nice rental. Close proximity to the beach, clean, cozy. Only issue we had was with the AC, its on auto so while the bottom 2 levels remain cool the top level got stuffy whenever it turn off and the unit is very loud when it kicks on. Aside from that we had a really great time.

We had a party of 8 and with the 3 levels, we had plenty of space! Just a quick 3 min walk to the beach or a 1 minute drive! We had two issues come up but they were immediately fixed and the customer service was amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

Great location, quiet neighborhood and a very comfortable house. There isn’t much of a dining table (barely seats 4 people) but with so many options for dining on the island who needs to cook? The property management company is very easy to communicate with.

Sea La Vie is a beautiful house. We truly enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is that the king size bed was very uncomfortable. We moved to another bedroom which was comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast at the Palm and really liked the Crab Trap for seafood. The staff was very helpful with our reservation. Nice people. We had no other contact with them.

We rent a house every Christmas and this one was, by far, the most equipped for cooking. The house was clean and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend this property and are looking forward to staying here again next year. When in SSI we always enjoy eating at The Half Shell. Good food and a friendly staff. This year we tried the new brewery in town, Barrier Island Brewing. Loved the unique decor and the food and drinks were delicious.

Home was in a nice neighborhood, clean yard and adequately equipped. However there were a few things that needed some attention. The microwave was dirty (greasy food splatter) the dining room table looked like someone just ate off of it. Light bulbs burned out and dirty coffee filter still in the pot. Area rugs filthy, I actually washed some of them. Beautiful fireplace but now way to turn it on, was tile the remote was locked in the owners closet. Very nice garage but no opener, was supposed to be on the counter. But with those few problems the house was nice.

Not a big fan of the concrete floors. Very nice TV's but, only very basic channels. Overall; very nice house and in a very new, good condition. Everything that you would need is at the property.

The title refers to the concrete floors throughout. We loved the kitchen, bathrooms, screened porch, fenced back yard, fire pit, privacy, central location and it is perfect for dogs. But, guests are not allowed to use the beautiful gas fireplace and seating for meals is very limited.
