Welcome to The Perch, a quiet retreat nestled among the treetops above the marshes of St. Simons Island. Here, days unfold a little more slowly. Watch birds drift across the morning sky, share meals overlooking the marsh, create something with your hands, lose yourself in a good book, and gather for sunset on the deck. The Perch was designed for one simple purpose: helping you disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other.

A stay here revolves around simple pleasures. This 2-bedroom, 2-bath pedestal home overlooks sweeping marsh views toward Sea Island and offers inviting spaces to relax and settle in. Start your morning with coffee on the deck while painted buntings and wading birds pass by. In the kitchen, you'll find more than just cookware. Recipe books, a crock pot, ice cream maker, grill, and Bluetooth radio encourage lingering meals and unhurried conversations. The master suite is equipped with a queen bed, en-suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the marsh over to Sea Island. The second bedroom has a bunk over a full bed with a pullout trundle. We've stocked the home with art supplies for creating your own keepsake, more than 50 books to choose for rainy afternoons, and a selection of puzzles and games, including our family favorites, St. Simonopoly and CLUE. Upstairs, the loft offers a cozy hideaway for movie nights with a Smart TV and DVD collection. Bring your own passwords for the ability to stream.

Get out and explore! Sea Palms is known for its laid-back coastal charm, where golf carts roll beneath moss-draped oaks and life moves at a gentler pace. The Sago restaurant, Sea Palms golf club and putting greens are just a 5-8 minute walk from the home. On the rest of SSI spend your days beachcombing, fishing, kayaking, biking, or exploring local shops and restaurants. Nature lovers will also find plenty to enjoy, from hiking at Cannon Point Preserve, booking an evening sunset cruise to view dolphins or heading over to Jekyll Island's sea turtle rescue facility. The island blends outdoor adventure with relaxed coastal living, making it easy to fill your days or do absolutely nothing at all. Either way, you'll leave feeling refreshed.

Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
• There are 1 Smart TV located in this property in the upstairs loft. No cable. Bring your own passwords for streaming.
• There are stairs to the main level. There is no elevator.
• Linens (Bath towels & bed sheets) are provided
• Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.
